Over a 35-year practice, Gerry has gained a deep understanding of high-performance building envelope design and creative construction technique.
He has investigated the relationship between aesthetics, performance and functionality for the Peter Munk Cardiac Centre at the University Health Network, the Energy Research Centre at University of Ontario Institute of Technology, the BMW North America Training Facility, and the Harvard Art Museum.
Since joining aA in 2012, Gerry has been involved in significant commercial and residential developments in Toronto’s new South Financial Core, and project pursuits for Sick Children’s Hospital, Ryerson University, and the Calgary Municipal Land Corporation.
Gerry is a graduate of the University of Toronto and the University of Pennsylvania School of Design. He is a Graduate Seminar Leader at the Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape and Design at the University of Toronto, and speaks publicly in Canada and the US on the integration of new building technologies, design and architectural preservation.
