Michael has three decades' experience in the design and construction of academic buildings and research labs, high-rise commercial and condominium towers, public housing, and mixed-use development projects in Canada and southern California. He is currently overseeing the renovation of spa and guest amenity space at Toronto’s St. Regis Hotel, and is project architect for the 86-storey, 1,106-unit YSL Condominium, in collaboration with KPF Architects.
Michael co-ordinated an extensive team of standard and specialty consultancies for Harbour Plaza/One York, a mixed-use development located on a densely built site in Toronto’s South Financial Core, which integrated two 67-storey residential towers, a 32-storey office building, a four-storey retail podium, and above-grade connections to Toronto’s PATH system. He was also responsible for construction documentation for the Cairns Family Health and Biosciences Research Complex at Brock University. Michael is a graduate of the University of Toronto and SCI Arch, Los Angeles, and is a LEED Accredited Professional.
